Because traditional outdoor TV solutions weren’t suitable, we built a reinforced concrete pad and designed a custom motorized concealment system — a specialist lift that discreetly houses the TV inside a custom-built base hidden behind the pool’s existing waterfall wall.
The cabinet was engineered to withstand the challenges of a bayfront environment. When stored, the TV is fully weatherproofed; when in use, it rises seamlessly with alerts sent to the homeowner’s phone and auto-retracts at day’s end. It can even be programmed to retract based on weather events.
Audio is distributed across four listening zones — lower deck, pool, first-floor dock, and a custom planter speaker with built-in subwoofer at the dock — allowing the client to follow the game or music wherever they go. Powered by Control4 automation, the system switches between five video sources through a matrix, and uniquely allows TV and music audio to run independently for maximum flexibility.
